I LOVE Dragonfruit. I am always waiting for summer so I can start making creations with it.
Dragonfruit is super tasty and refreshing. Dragonfruit is known to have a high vitamin C content and to be full of antioxidants. Pineapples also come in hot because they contain bromelain which is extremely helpful in reducing inflammation. This smoothie is so easy to throw together quickly for a snack on the go or a light breakfast.
I always have people asking me what is in my smoothie when I make this because the colors are so vibrant!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 FROZEN BANANA
HANDFUL OF FROZEN PINEAPPLE (ABOUT 1/2 CUP)
1 DRAGON FRUIT PACKET (I USE PITAYA PLUS)
1 CUP WATER, COCONUT WATER, OR ANY NON-DAIRY MILK YOU FANCY
(The fruits themselves are very sweet so it doesn't really need anything else)
*** I ALWAYS USE ORGANIC INGREDIENTS. OF COURSE I UNDERSTAND IF THIS IS NOT FEASIBLE FOR YOUR BUDGET, BUT BUYING ORGANIC WHEN YOU CAN IS ALWAYS PREFERRED FOR HIGH AMOUNTS OF MAGIC.
RECIPE
PUT ALL INGREDIENTS IN YOUR NUTRIBULLET OR BLENDER AND BLEND UNTIL COMBINED. IF TO THICK ADD A LITTLE MORE LIQUID.
DRINK ON YOUR VERANDA, OR PORCH, OR LOOKING OUT YOUR WINDOW. MAYBE YOU DRINK IT IN YOUR CAR WITH YOUR KIDS IN THE BACK BEGGING YOU FOR THE COOL BRIGHT COLORED DRINK. WHATEVER, JUST ENJOYYYYYY THIS BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT YOU MAGICAL HUMAN YOU.
