WEEKLY ENERGY FORECAST (1/18)

With Michaela Hastings of @Empowered_Tarot

Take a look at each pile, either pile one, two, or three. Take a deep breath to connect with your intuition. The pile that calls to you will have a message for you with One oracle card and two tarot cards. The oracle card will have a message about where to place your focus for the week. The second card will have a message about where to place your focus for your mental health, and the third will be where it’s best to place your focus on your physical health. The oracle card deck used is The Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Barron-Reid. The tarot deck used is the classic Rider-Waite tarot deck.

Weekly Focus: Tick Tock

This card suggests that you’re stressed that things aren’t moving in accordance to your time line. You’re wondering why what you’re working for hasn’t transpired yet. You’ve been consistent, you’ve put in a lot of work, and it’s getting exhausting. You’re starting to think that it’s never going to happen. But remember, things don’t always happen when you want them to. Divine timing is a thing. Divine timing reminds us that time is endless. We always have enough time. Oftentimes manifestations come through after a quiet period. So hold your faith, remember how far you’ve come, and know that everything that everything that is meant for you will find it’s way to you.

Mental Health Focus: King of Cups

This week you may feel as though your emotions are swirling out of control.  Notice how the water is rushing around the king in the photo.  But the king is confident, he sits on his throne made of solid stone.  He is in control.  He is able to feel his emotions and still stay connected to who he is and doesn’t fault at his job as a king.  When you feel your emotions getting out of hand, don’t repress them, but don’t let them run wild.  Find a constructive and healthy way to express them.  Whether it be through journaling, exercise, or talking to a therapist, feel all of your emotions and use them to create something you would be proud of.

Physical Health Focus: Page of Swords

It’s time to get defensive of your lifestyle. You may be around your family members or friends who don’t take your exercise or nutritional habits as seriously as you do. When people finally make changes, it shines a light on other people’s shadow and they may unintentionally try to sabotage you. Defend your stance, you’re not being selfish. The more you care for yourself, the more that you will be able to care for others. So don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself, defend your boundaries, and stand by the changes you’ve made.

Weekly Focus: Between Worlds

You’re in a place where you’re waiting for your manifestation to come through. You’ve put in the work, but nothing has happened yet. Although nothing has happened, you’re just going with the flow. Keep going with the flow. It may feel like a strange place to be, but keep holding the faith. Keep doing what you’re doing and listening/following to your intuition. Eventually something is going to happen.

Mental Health Focus: 3 of Pentacles

It’s time to collaborate. In this card, we see a master and apprentice working together to build a cathedral. Reach out to friends or family who have already accomplished what you’re working for. If you don’t personally know anyone, look on social media and try to learn how they did it. You don’t have to go it alone. Letting your mind see it will help to shift your subconscious mind so that you know it can be done as well as give you a possible roadmap to success.

Physical Health Focus: 8 of Pentacles

Keep working hard. This man is using a chisel and hammer to make his coins. He’s gottens quite good at making these coins, but that didn’t come without focus and discipline. The number eight symbolizes abundance. Stay disciplined and remember it is going to pay off. Remember that discipline is the highest form of self love. Being able to choose between what you are tempted by in the short term and what you really want in the long term is going to make all the difference of whether you are successful or not.

Weekly Focus: Peace

My favorite way to define peace is radical acceptance. It’s time to accept where you are. You will get to where you’re going. Peace is the state of mind that is going to make achieving your goals easier than someone who is completely consumed and obsessed. Connect to the people, places, and things that bring you peace. Meditate, go for a hike, or reach out to your loved ones who bring you comfort.

Mental Health Focus: Temperance

The temperance card is all about balance. The angel in the card is filling up one cup with water from another cup. This shows that she understands having to fill her own cup to fill others. She has one foot in the water and one foot on the solid ground symbolizing that her intuitive and logical mind are in balance. Don’t get too absorbed in making all of your changes and trying to achieve your goals. Remember to spend time with loved ones and do other activities that fulfill you and help take your mind off of everything. Obsession will burn you out, moderation will give you the endurance for the long haul. Find your balance.

Physical Health Focus: 8 of Swords (reversed)

Perhaps you’ve encountered a number of challenging situations that you feel are holding you back. You’re feeling as though you won’t be able to achieve what you want. What’s the point? Everytime you take two steps forward, you take a step back. These challenges are all opportunities to learn and get stronger. And remember that any progress, even if it’s small, it’s still progress. You aren’t trapped in your current situation. Adapt and move forward.
